Brenda Martin, owner
Brenda has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years and has her P&C and Crop Insurance licenses. She started at VO Enterprises in 2005 and works in the Beemer office. Brenda and her husband, Dan, have 3 boys, Braden, Andre, and Gabe and live in Howells.
Daniel Martin, owner, financial services representative
Dan has been working with insurance since 2011. Licensed in Crop, P&C, and Life & Health Insurance, Dan also holds his Series 7 & 63 licenses. Dan works in our Howells office chiefly with Life/Health insurance and financial products. Dan enjoys hunting, golfing, and coaching his sons’ activities.
Vern Ortmeier
Vern has more than 30 years experience in the insurance industry and is the founder of VO Enterprises. He is licensed in P&C and Crop Insurance. Vern and his wife, Rita, live in Waterloo, NE and enjoy spending time with their three grown children and three grandchildren.
Kathy Giese
Kathy has worked at VOs for more than 25 years. She is licensed in Crop Insurance and processes many of the renewals and endorsements that come through the Beemer office. Kathy farms south of Wisner and enjoys bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jennifer Niewohner
Jen has been an insurance agent for more than 25 years. She was born and raised on a farm by Clarkson, NE. Jen graduated from UNL with a finance degree and after working in banking for a few years started her career with VO Enterprises in 2002. She and her husband farm by Snyder and have 3 children, Karly, Alisen, and Nate. Jen works both in the Beemer and Howells offices and has her Crop, Property & Casualty, and Life Insurance licenses.
Jacquelyn Giese
Jacque started with VOs in 2010, first as an intern, and then full time after graduating from Concordia University Seward with a degree in Business. She is licensed in P&C and Crop Insurance, primarily working with crop and farm insurance. She and her husband, Michael, live in Beemer with their dogs, Loki & Odin.
Austin Coufal
Austin has been in the insurance industry since 2011, having worked for State Farm Insurance as a claims representative before starting with VO Enterprises in the fall of 2012. Austin is licensed for P&C and Crop Insurance and works in the Howells office. His goal is to build long lasting relationships with customers by being available 24/7. Customers should feel free to call or text him any time to help with insurance questions or concerns. Austin and his wife, Kelsey, live in Howells with their two children. He enjoys being with family, camping, fishing, hunting, being a volunteer fireman, and officiating wrestling.
Jennifer Wuestewald
Jen lives in West Point with her husband, Todd, and children, Alexis and Ryan. After graduating from Wayne State College, she worked at Pathfinder Support Services in Fremont and most recently at Tom’s Rexall Drug in West Point. Jenny has her Nebraska Life/Health and Property & Casualty Insurance licenses and works in the Beemer office.
Brandon Bowers
Brandon grew up on a farm outside of Winside, NE. After high school, he went to UNL and majored in Ag Economics. While in college, Brandon started working for Allied Insurance and worked there from 2006 to 2012; he then accepted a job in Des Moines, IA as a farm underwriter for Nationwide Agribusiness. He relocated back to Lincoln in 2014 to take on a role as farm underwriter for eastern Nebraska. In February of 2015, Brandon accepted an agent position with VO’s and moved back to Winside. Brandon works out of the Beemer office and has his Property/Casualty and Crop Insurance licenses.
Maci Batenhorst
Maci graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2021 with a degree in Agribusiness and Communications. Maci grew up in Wisner, NE and recently moved back after returning from college. She enjoys spending her free time helping on the family farm, spending time at the lake, going on walks with her puppy Ace, and shopping! Maci works in both the Beemer and Howells offices and will be getting her Property/Casualty and Crop Insurance licenses!
Linette Brester
Linette recently joined our team in April of 2022. Linette was born and raise in the Howells area and resides here with her husband Keith. Together they raised 4 children: Brook, Brady, Kalli and Lexie! She is licensed in Property & Casualty and Health insurance.
