Dan has been an Insurance and Financial Services representative since the summer of 2011. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses, as well as Life & Health insurance licenses. In 2013 Dan joined Ameritas Financial Center, a group of successful financial advisers with experience and knowledge in a variety of areas. Utilizing a comprehensive approach, he works with individuals, families, and small businesses to help protect and grow their financial assets. He provides effective, practical strategies that help to fulfill the objectives of each client.
Prior to his career change, Dan was an educator for 16 years. Dan taught social studies and coached football, basketball, and golf in Beemer for five years. He was the secondary Principal and Activities Director at Elgin Public School for four years and then K-12 Principal at Howells for seven years. Educating clients and simplifying financial and insurance concepts is now his main focus.
Dan has been a lifelong resident of northeast Nebraska. Dan is married with three boys, ages 10, 7, and 5. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a major in Psychology and minor in English. He also received his Master’s in Educational Administration and Educational Specialist degrees from Wayne State College. Outside Dan enjoys hunting, golfing, and coaching his sons’ activities.
